Make sure to wear your hat, gloves, pants, and jacket as it’ll be dark and cold along the way. Hop on a 4×4 Jeep and navigate the dirt road that will lead you directly to an ideal viewpoint on the mountain. At the top, you’ll have enough time to relax as you wait for the sunrise. Marvel at the surrounding lunar-like landscape once the light breaks over the horizon.

I’ve hiked to the top of Mount Batur before. This time I chose to go up by jeep. It was a fun experience. And the sunrise view was so stunning! Driver putu is very friendly and took a lot of great photos for us. And I love his yellow jeep! Highly recommended this company in Bali. Will bring friends and go again.

Best way to experience the sunrise if you are not a strong hiker! The staff were so sweet especially putu. The Jeep ride was rather rough but a very fun off road kinda experience and the sunrise was just gorgeous. And the guides were really good at taking the pictures for us.
