Make sure to wear your hat, gloves, pants, and jacket as it’ll be dark and cold along the way. Hop on a 4×4 Jeep and navigate the dirt road that will lead you directly to an ideal viewpoint on the mountain. At the top, you’ll have enough time to relax as you wait for the sunrise. Marvel at the surrounding lunar-like landscape once the light breaks over the horizon.

The trip was fantastic. I’m glad we booked this jeep tour. The drivers took care of everything. from picking up in our hotel on time, jeep safari was awesome and exciting. The trek didn’t seem to be easy but they made it a great experience for us. Along with the beautiful sunrise, black lava rocks and yummy breakfast with a gorgeous view, they also took nice photos like a professional photographer!

Driver Gede picked me up in the morning on time and with good communications as my hotel was in the forest. it was an hour drive to the actual 4wd jeep meeting point . Then the actual tour where my driver was really good and experienced , took some great photos and shots for me and drove us up and down with no problems at all, it was so private, just us, the jeep and the mountains. overall an awesome experience. only when it ended, they brought us to a restaurant which was not so hygienic but with a great view
