Make sure to wear your hat, gloves, pants, and jacket as it’ll be dark and cold along the way. Hop on a 4×4 Jeep and navigate the dirt road that will lead you directly to an ideal viewpoint on the mountain. At the top, you’ll have enough time to relax as you wait for the sunrise. Marvel at the surrounding lunar-like landscape once the light breaks over the horizon.

Great tour from start to finish, worth the early start to see the sun rise. Would recommend bringing something warm to wear due to the early pick up but coats are available to rent at the meet up spot. We didn’t need this for long as started to warm up when the sun rose but still recommend.
Following the the sun rise tour, we explored the black lava field and were given lots of time to explore, following this we bathed in the hot spring overlooking the lake – a really good experience. Towel rental included in ticket price so don’t need to bring your own.
Following this we went to the Waroeng D’Yoni restaurant – wow, wow wow! The view is absolutely sensational and food was great.
After this you go to a coffee plantation (Segara Windhu Coffee Plantation) – learnt about the different crops they grow on Bali, how they use these for coffee. Your also shown traditional coffee processing methods. After this there’s a sampling session with lots of different coffees and teas the plantation produce and an absolutely breathtaking view to enjoy when doing so. A small shop is also available on site, allowing you to buy the coffees and teas you have just smapled as well as other trinkets. 10/10 trip, would recommend to anyone coming to Bali!
