- Meet in front of the Ruins of the Convent of São Francisco, on the riverfront. When you arrive, the Commercial Port of Portimão is on your right. Go straight ahead on the dirt road. At the end of this road you will find the meeting point. Algarve Discovery Staff will be at the gate

Full Description
Benagil & Marinha Boat Tour from Portimão
We will start this wonderful 2 Hour Small Group Boat Tour from Portimão. The crew will wait for you at the pier of Clube Naval de Portimão. Then our staff will give you a safety briefing before we start the journey.
Along the way, we will see churches, castles, beautiful caves, scary caves and hear old stories around the area. Hopefully, we have the opportunities to see the cute dolphins. All of our boats are equipped with VHF Radio and will be operating in the same channel as the dolphin watching boats, so if they are spotted, which is very common in our coast, and we will take you to see them if they are within 2 miles.
When you arrive at the Benagil Cave, you’ll be blown away by its beauty. A naturally formed hole at the top lets the sunlight filter down to the sandy beach below. Listen to the echoes of the wind and let yourself be fulfilled and calmed by your surroundings.
Before returning to Portimão, we will stop the boat next to Praia da Marinha and Praia da Corredoura, these 2 beaches only has access by sea, for those who want to jump and swim in the crystal clear waters of the Algarve (if conditions allow it).

Really enjoyable and tour guide was lovely. 2 hours went by so fast (I guess time really does fly by when you’re having fun)!
Originally planned to do kayaking but this was cancelled due to weather. However, we were contacted and informed of this and offered the boat tour as a substitute. Angie gave speedy replies and was an enormous help. We were given refunds for cancellation for friends that couldn’t make it without problems. We were also arriving late and angie informed the boat captain for us.
