If you’re traveling in Lagos or Sagres and want to learn how to surf, this Beginner Surfing Lessons are the best choice for you!
The surf school in the Algarve that will show you the best of surf Algarve was founded in 1996. In fact, it is one of the most successful and popular surf schools in Europe.
Meet us at the beach or catch a ride in one of our surf vans to the West coast of the Algarve. Your best choice to discover the best of surfing from Sagres!
This is a fun, safe and inexpensive way to try out surfing. We’ll take you to the best beach according to the weather and wave conditions. Most likely we’ll go surfing at Praia do Amado. We’ll take into account your level of experience as this surfing experience is suitable for several levels of experience.
Once you arrive at the beach, we’ll choose the best wet suit and board for you. Then, we’ll warm up and do a beach class to learn some techniques for paddling out, getting on your board, standing up and about safety too. You’ll have the chance to practice in the water.
BEGINNER LEVEL

The white water/ broken waves is the best environment to learn and improve quickly. You shouldn’t head for the green waves if you’re not confident with the above techniques. Remember: be a beginner; don’t be a kook!
Lesson format: morning or afternoon lessons (2 hour session). Board, wetsuit and sport insurance included during the lesson.

Plenty of practice, complemented by all the theory and safety that you need to become a responsible and competent surfer. The board you are allocated will be determined the instructor.
Lesson format: Not as strict as the beginner level, we’ll try to get you in the water when it’s good and do the theory before, after or in between the surf sessions. Board, wetsuit and sport insurance included during the lesson.

- No shows or cancel the tour within 48hr will be charged in full amount of the tour price
