Golden Circle & Secret Lagoon Tour will take you to soak in the warm, relaxing waters of a traditional Icelandic hot spring before taking you along one of the most popular tourist routes in Iceland!
Golden Circle & Secret Lagoon
Itinerary:
1 = Stop at Gamla Laugin – Secret Lagoon 120 minutes
2 = Stop at Geysir 60 minutes
3 = Stop at Gullfoss Waterfall 45 minutes
4 = Stop at Thingvellir National Park 25 minutes
5 = End of tour at Skógarhlíð
If you are looking for a stellar day out that brings you up close to some of the most amazing features that Iceland has to offer then why not consider booking your place on the Iceland Golden Circle tour. This excursion has been explicitly designed to show you the best sights the area has to offer and is a fun and feature packed 10-hour bus tour through this magnificent region.
One of the critical features of this tour is the chance to experience a natural spa treatment as you will spend an hour and a half bathing in the thermal waters of the Secret Lagoon. This natural phenomenon boasts a temperature of around 40 degrees and steam rises, and you lay back and forget your worries and cares in this amazing Reykjavik location. A towel is provided, but of course, you can bring your own if you prefer, just don’t forget your bathing costume.
After this beautiful relaxation session, you will return to the bus and travel to the Golden Circle, a region of the area that takes in þingvellir National Park, the waterfall at Gullfoss and Strokkur working Geysir. This is a volcanic area and once every eight minutes a jet of steaming hot water shoots high into the air, over 30 meters. In complete contrast, the Gullfoss Waterfall is glacial and feeds the Hvítá River, the spray of this majestic location is something you need to see to believe as the water plunges 32 meters in the deep crevice below. Your final stop is þingvellir National Park, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The scenery is breathtaking, and this is another area of the world that often features in bucket lists due to the fact it is the meeting point of the tectonic plates of Eurasia and North America.

I had a great time, thanks!

Everything is expensive in Iceland. We didn’t drive so we joined this tour. The tour was nice, Secret Lagoon (hot spring) is the first stop and then we visited all of the Golden Circle. We paid extra for the pick up service because we didn’t want to take the bus to the meeting point. The company picked us up on time and everything well organized.
The tour guide was knowledgeable and we were so glad to have chosen the tour with the added secret lagoon on it as it added an extra element of Icelandic charm and was a great way to start the day.

Just returned from the day trip to the Golden Circle and Secret Lagoon. Wonderful day. Beautiful sights and excellent stories (all true) from Iceman. We loved it.
Cold and clear all day, had a great deal of fun, lots of information. Lagoon was less busy than blue lagoon, would recommend!.
