This full day tour takes you to the most popular parts of the Sacred Valley starting off in the town of Pisac. This is a fully guided tour with an English speaking guide (or Spanish, if you choose) who will explain the rich history of the different towns and ruins you will visit.
Sacred Valley Full Day Tour From Cusco
You will be picked up between 7:00 am and 8:00 am. After picking up any additional people, you will begin the 40 minute scenic drive to your first stop, Pisac, in the Sacred Valley.
Pisac
Once you arrive in Pisac, you will start with a guided tour of the ruins.
After learning about the fascination history, you will return to the small town. Located in the main square, you will have 45 minutes to explore the famous market. Here, you will find an assortment of produce, textiles, and trinkets. A perfect place to purchase gifts!
Buffet Lunch in Restaurant Tunupa in Urubamba
After Pisac, your group will begin the journey through the Sacred Valley.
The next stop will be lunch in Urubamba. Located on a river, the beautiful location creates the great atmosphere to taste all of the Peruvian cuisine.If you have not reserved the buffet lunch, it is recommended you bring a box lunch with you- the restaurant is isolated and the bus will not drop you off at another location. You are welcome to order a box lunch from your guide for S./8.
Ollataytambo
The journey continues along the valley to Ollantaytambo. Founded by the Inca, Ollanta, on the banks of the Urubamba River, Ollantaytambo is a fort built into the mountain with Andean terraces and also a traditional town. The Sun Temple, constructed of large blocks that have remained intact for centuries in sprite of the effects of time and weather. It is possible to stay in Ollantaytambo and take the train directly to Aguas Calientes and spend the night there to visit Machu Picchu the next day. Chinchero (optional depending on time)
Heading on from Ollantaytambo, the bus will return via Urubamba and then head up and out of the valley to the highlands above where you will make a final stop in the town of Chinchero. This sweet little town is famous for its church with painted murals and its traditional market which is famous for their handmade textiles and weavings. After visiting the church and market you will return to Cusco, arriving around 7:00 pm.

In addition to the tour price, you must purchase a tourist ticket. A full tourist ticket costs s/130 or s/70 for students with a valid ISIC card. The full tourist ticket is valid for 10 days and allows entry to the majority of the Inca sites around Cusco and the Sacred Valley. This is a better option if you plan to visit all Inca sites at the famous Sacred Valley .
